OPEN ONLY TO ELIGIBLE RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO, AS OF THE TIME OF ENTRY, ARE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD.
VOID IN PUERTO RICO, AND ALL JURISDICTIONS OTHER THAN THOSE STATED ABOVE AND WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

The The Great Samuel Dalton Golden Pin Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited or restricted by law. The following individuals are not eligible to enter or win a prize: directors, officers, employees, representatives, and agents of Sponsor, and of Sponsor’s parents, subsidiaries, or affiliated companies, marketing agencies, and any other parties involved in the administration of the Sweepstakes (Sponsor, collectively with the foregoing, “Sweepstakes Parties”) and each of the immediate family members of such excluded individuals (i.e., spouses, parents, children, siblings and the “steps” of each) and all persons living in the same household of each.
By participating in these Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules (“Official Rules”) and by the decisions of the Sponsor in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.
The entry period for the Sweepstakes commences on August 23, 2024 at 12:00:00 PM ET and ends on September 6, 2024 at 11:59:59 AM ET (“Entry Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official time keeping device for the Sweepstakes.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY AND NO ENTRY FEE, PAYMENT OR PROOF OF PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE.
There are two (2) ways to enter the Sweepstakes:
Limit of one (1) mail-in entry per stamped outer mailing envelope. You will receive one (1) entry for each completed eligible mail-in entry received, subject to the entry limitation stated below. Each mail-in entry must be postmarked by September 6, 2024 and received by Sponsor no later than September 12, 2024. Sweepstakes Parties assume no responsibility for lost, late, incomplete, stolen, misdirected, illegible or postage-due entries or mail. No mechanically reproduced entries permitted. Illegible/incomplete entries are void.
You may receive a maximum of one (1) entry per person, regardless of the method of entry or combination of entry methods used.
Compliance with the entry requirements will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Submissions that violate, as determined by the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, these entry requirements or do not meet the submission deadlines will be disqualified from the Sweepstakes.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
On or about September 15, 2024, three (3) winners (each, a “Winner” and collectively, the “Winners”) will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received. Sponsor will attempt to notify each Winner by (i) e-mailing such Winner at the email address submitted at the time of purchase or listed on the mail-in entry, as applicable, and (ii) mailing a limited edition golden pin to the home address listed as the shipping address at the time of purchase or listed on the mail-in entry, as applicable. Winners must respond to Sponsor via e-mail at giveaways@dropout.tv by 11:59:59 PT on September 18, 2024 (“Winner Acceptance Date”) to claim and receive the Prize.
The right to receive a prize is subject to Sponsor’s verification of Winner’s eligibility, including verification of age and residency and to the fulfillment of all requirements of these Official Rules.
If a Winner (i) is determined to be ineligible or otherwise disqualified by Sponsor, (ii) fails to provide e-mail acceptance of the prize on or before the Winner Acceptance Date, (iii) fails to timely provide any information requested by Sponsor (e.g., information needed by Sponsor to deliver the prize) or timely execute and return any documents required by Sponsor (including any appearance and liability releases), the Winner will be disqualified and forfeit all interest in the prize in its entirety. Sponsor reserves the right to select an alternate winner or not award the unclaimed prize.
As a condition of receiving the prize, Winner must sign and return any documents requested by Sponsor, including but not limited to, an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability. Winner may be issued an IRS Form 1099-MISC in the amount of the approximate retail value of the prize (as calculated by Sponsor) and must provide Sponsor with their valid Social Security Number or Taxpayer ID for tax reporting purposes upon request. Noncompliance with the requirements of this paragraph will result in disqualification of the Winner and the forfeiture of all interest in the prize.
Sponsor reserves the right to require Winners to submit to a confidential background check to confirm eligibility as a condition of awarding any prize to help ensure that the use of any such person in advertising or publicity for the Sweepstakes will not bring Sponsor into public disrepute, contempt, scandal or ridicule or reflect unfavorably on the Sweepstakes as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
Three (3) winners will each win the following prize:
- Roundtrip coach class air transportation for Winner from the major airport in the United States nearest to winner’s home to Los Angeles, California to attend a guided studio tour of the Dropout.tv studio in Los Angeles, California and to participate in an episode of the Sponsor show GAME CHANGER (“Dropout.tv Show”) to film sometime between October 14, 2024 and November 4, 2024 (if the winner does not reside within 150 miles of the Dropout.tv studio) (ARV: $700)
- Hotel accommodations (one standard room, double occupancy) in Los Angeles, California for Winner for one (1)-night stay the evening following the Dropout.tv studio tour and Winner’s participation in the Dropout.tv Show (ARV: $500)
- A $150 stipend for roundtrip ground transportation for Winner between the airport and the hotel and the hotel and Dropout.tv studio (ARV: $150)
- A $100 per diem stipend for meals on the day of arrival and day of departure (ARV: $200)
The total ARV of all prizes offered in this Sweepstakes is $4,650. All amounts are in United States dollars. Actual value of the prize depends on travel dates, departure city, and air transportation and hotel market conditions at time of fulfillment. Any difference in value between the stated ARV and the actual value of the prize will not be awarded.
The hotel and airfare will be as arranged by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Other restrictions may apply. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change the dates of the travel and/or filming of the Dropout.tv Show. Sponsor will notify winner in the event of a change in itinerary.
It is the responsibility of each Winner to arrive at the airport on time for such Winner’s departure and obtain and possess all required travel documents. Sponsor has no responsibility for lost or stolen tickets and/or travel documents, baggage, flight delays, or any other occurrences beyond its control. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight or travel accommodations. Sponsor has no responsibility for the Winner’s inability or failure to accept or use any part of the prize as described herein. Each Winner must comply with all check-in requirements, including the presentation of a major credit card. Unused components of the prize have no redeemable cash value. All airline tickets issued in connection with the prize are not eligible for frequent flyer miles or upgrades and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer. Travel must be round-trip. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules and those set forth by the travel prize suppliers, including but not limited to, the airline’s passenger ticket contract, and any other rules or restrictions as may be determined in the sole discretion of Sponsor. FLIGHT TICKETS AND HOTEL RESERVATIONS MUST BE ARRANGED WITH SPONSOR. ALL TRAVEL RESERVATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY AND SPONSOR’S APPROVAL. NO CHANGES ARE PERMITTED ONCE ANY TRAVEL RESERVATIONS HAVE BEEN MADE, EXCEPT WITH THE WRITTEN APPROVAL OF SPONSOR. If the Winner is unable to use the prize during the time period determined by Sponsor, the Winner forfeits the prize in its entirety and if time permits, Sponsor will select a substitute winner at random from among all remaining eligible Entries. If the Winner is disqualified and there is no time to reasonably select a substitute winner, Sponsor reserves the right not to select a substitute winner and to retain the related prize. In case of prize forfeiture, no further compensation is due to Winner from Sponsor. Winner is responsible for obtaining travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance) at their option and hereby acknowledges that Sponsor has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance. Sponsor is not liable for any travel canceled or prizes forfeited due to a force majeure event (including without limitation, events related to the propagation of the COVID-19 virus).
The right to receive the prize cannot be transferred, assigned or redeemed for cash. The prize is non-transferable and no cash or other prize substitution is permitted, except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. The prize is subject to availability. If a prize (or any part of the prize package) is unavailable, Sponsor, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize or prize component with a prize or component of equal approximate retail value or specifications. In addition, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, postpone, modify, or reschedule any prize or prize component, including without limitation any event or travel-related element of the prize, if it deems in its sole, reasonable discretion, that participation in an event or travel shall create an unreasonable risk to the health or safety of the Winner or any other third-party due to the propagation of the COVID-19 virus, or if official restrictions on travel or other government actions in connection with the COVID-19 virus make the award of a prize or component impractical, without any obligation to award a substitute prize or prize component. All federal, state, and local taxes, fees, and surcharges and taxes (whether foreign or domestic, and including income, sales, and import taxes) on prizes are the sole responsibility of the Winner. All costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specifically provided herein are the sole responsibility of the Winner.
Except where prohibited by law, by Winner’s acceptance of the prize, Winner grants Sponsor a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right and license to use Winner’s name, photograph, voice, and likeness in connection with the administration and promotion of this Sweepstakes and for any other promotional, advertising, publicity or other lawful purpose. In order to receive the prize, Winner agrees to execute any additional publicity or appearance releases presented to Winner in connection with Winner’s receipt of the prize, including Winner’s participation on the Dropout.tv Show.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AGREE (I) SPONSOR AND THE OTHER SWEEPSTAKES PARTIES SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE OR SPECIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH (A) THE SWEEPSTAKES OR (B) ANY PRIZE AWARDED, AND (II) YOUR REMEDIES FOR ANY CLAIMS RELATING THE SWEEPSTAKES ARE LIMITED TO YOUR ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES OF PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES (IF ANY). SPONSOR DOES NOT MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO THE PRIZE, OR ANY ELEMENTS THEREOF, INCLUDING THAT THE DROPOUT.TV SHOW WILL BE DISTRIBUTED OR MADE AVAILABLE ON THE DROPOUT.TV WEBSITE OR ANY OTHER CONTENT DISTRIBUTION CHANNEL.
By participating in the Sweepstakes or accepting a prize, you agree that the Sweepstakes Parties assume no liability and are not responsible for, and you hereby waive and release the Sweepstakes Parties from, any actions, claims, damages, losses or injuries of any kind (collectively “Claims”) arising in connection with the Sweepstakes and/or the receipt, use or misuse of any prize, or any prize related travel or events, including without limitation, Claims relating to: (i) the malfunction of any computer, telephone, network, satellite, hardware, software or communications line; (ii) unauthorized human intervention; (iii) incorrect, delayed or inaccurate transmission, winner notifications, prize claims or other information or communications relating to the Sweepstakes, or the failure to capture or transmit any such information; (iv) damage to any person’s computer or mobile device; or (v) any errors in these Official Rules, winner notifications or other announcements or communications relating to the Sweepstakes; (vi) any delays in the delivery of the prizes. In the event of any ambiguity or error(s) in these Official Rules, Sponsor reserves the right to clarify or modify these Official Rules however it deems appropriate to correct any such ambiguity or error(s). If due to an error or for any other reason, more legitimate prize claims are received than the number of prizes stated in these Official Rules, Sponsor reserves the right to award a maximum of only one (1) prize. In no event will more than the stated maximum number of prizes (i.e., one (1) prize) be awarded.
LEGAL WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL, WHETHER OR NOT A PARTICIPANT, TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND DILIGENTLY PURSUE ALL REMEDIES AGAINST ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes or winning the prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, deception, or other unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs) or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or any Sweepstakes Party.
If the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including without limitation, due to a force majeure event or infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, government orders, natural disasters, the effects of COVID-19 or any pandemic or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or cancel the Sweepstakes. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor reserves the right to retain any all prizes.
Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, your rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of State of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. By entering, you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the state and local courts located in Los Angeles County, California and the federal courts located in the State of California for the resolution of all disputes relating to the Sweepstakes, and agree that any and all disputes shall be resolved exclusively in those courts. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision. If any provision of these Official Rules is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck, and the remaining provisions shall be enforced.
Any personally identifiable information collected during a entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes will be collected by Sponsor or its designee and used by Sponsor for the administration and fulfillment of the Sweepstakes and as otherwise described in these Official Rules and Sponsor’s privacy policy available at https://store.dropout.tv/policies/privacy-policy.
For the name of the Winner, place a self-addressed, stamped business-sized envelope in an envelope and mail it to: Connected Ventures, LLC dba Dropout.tv, 3108 Glendale Boulevard, P.O. Box 479, Los Angeles, California 90039. Requests must be received no later than sixty (60) days after the end of the Entry Period.
